In 2019, Te Maroro Restaurant & Bar underwent a total make-over. We moved back into the new look and feel Te Maroro Restaurant & Bar in early December 2019, and are proud to show off the new space. The purpose-built buffet station allows for a hassle-free breakfast experience. One of our Chefs is there each morning ready to cook eggs any way– we can highly recommend one of the omelettes – simply delicious!

The 2019 Te Waka Toi Awards - Supreme Award Winner is sculptor Rex Homan (Te Rarawa) who over a thirty-year career is regarded as one of country’s finest wood-sculptors specialising in life-like bird, flora and fauna works. Jet Park Hotels are proud to have a long standing relationship with Rex Homan and you can see his incredible artworks at our hotels at Auckland Airport and Rotorua that include such works as the iconic 'fish wall' in the lobby at Auckland Airport and a Kokako that has been carved from authentic New Zealand Swamp Kauri.

Jet Park Hotels is pleased to announce that they now accept Alipay payments at all 3 of their hotels including Auckland Airport, Rotorua and Hamilton. Alipay is the world’s largest payment platform and has 600 million active users. Alipay is an alternative to cash or credit cards and can be used to pay for accommodation and food and beverages.

Recently, Jet Park Hotel Auckland Airport was honoured to host ‘The Bob Kerridge Animal Welfare Fellowship’ in a celebration of the work they do. Two outstanding Fellowship recipients presented their exciting findings; a development of a welfare evaluation process for whale strandings, and research findings on animal welfare in wildfire response.

We are excited to advise that we are giving our Restaurant and Bar a brand new make‐over. Works started Thursday 19th September 2019 and are expected to be completed by the end of the year. Some of the features of the new restaurant and bar include an egg station, full buffet and side buffet counter and the ability to offer full carveries at night- all within a light, open plan and modern space.
