Recently, Jet Park Hotel Auckland Airport was honoured to host ‘The Bob Kerridge Animal Welfare Fellowship’ in a celebration of the work they do. Two outstanding Fellowship recipients presented their exciting findings; a development of a welfare evaluation process for whale strandings, and research findings on animal welfare in wildfire response.

We are excited to advise that we are giving our Restaurant and Bar a brand new make‐over. Works started Thursday 19th September 2019 and are expected to be completed by the end of the year. Some of the features of the new restaurant and bar include an egg station, full buffet and side buffet counter and the ability to offer full carveries at night- all within a light, open plan and modern space.

The 25th Anniversary of Les Clefs d’Or (est. 1994) was held with a glittering gala dinner and ball at the Cordis, Auckland CBD on 2nd June 2019. Our very own Bunny Spyve, Chief Concierge at Jet Park Hotel Auckland Airport, the only woman to have achieved the accolade of Golden Keys status, was recognized for the amazing work done over the years.

Bob Kerridge shares with us a little insight on what he's been up to post-SPCA, his long-standing relationship with Jet Park Hotel, our pet-stay rooms, and future projects he's involved with. Background: Jet Park Airport Hotel and Conference Centre owners, Liz Herrmann and John Lateulere have long been avid supporters of the SPCA both in South Africa and here in New Zealand; "SPCA is a cause close to our hearts, and is a charity supported by Jet Park Hotels. Ever since we bought the property on which we built the original hotel Bob Kerridge has been a wonderful neighbour and friend to Jet Park Hotels". The relationship has gone from strength to strength, and in 2012, we became a major 'Bed and Board' sponsor of the SPCA Auckland.

A multi-million dollar top-to-toe makeover of the Hamilton Airport Hotel will deliver a destination restaurant plus 4-star conference and accommodation facilities for the region. The revamped 62-room hotel will be complete by Christmas 2019 under the management of family-owned Jet Park Hotel Hamilton Limited from May 2019. Ownership of the hotel will remain with Waikato Regional Airport Limited (WRAL). WRAL purchased the hotel in January 2018 as part of its strategy to grow non-aeronautical revenue streams.
