We are Covid Ready, what does that mean?

Recently we were awarded the Covid Clean Approved accreditation from Qualmark which is evidence that we have a thorough understanding of Covid-19 regulatory health and safety requirements and best practice.  It shows potential customers that they can book with confidence.

Tourism Export Council New Zealand has recently launched an online directory of accommodation providers who have been granted the Covid Ready Recognition Badge, WTTC Safe Travels Stamp and Tourism Trade Checklist Badges. These are only given to providers who are Covid ready and comply with the New Zealand Ministry of Health accommodation health & safety guidelines. We have recently been awarded these badges as a safe place to stay for any guests and we have a comprehensive health & safety plan for both guests and employees.

We have put in a lot of work towards making sure our hotel is Covid Safe. Your safety is our number one priority, and we are using rigorous hygiene procedures to ensure you are safe and can concentrate on enjoying your stay and leave feeling warm, relaxed and happy.

Some of the health and safety measures we have in place are:

• Cleaning & Sanitizing of shared areas, guests rooms and back of house areas
• Hand Hygiene dispensers including displaying posters on how to wash hands correctly and use sanitizer dispensers
• Food Safety Protocols including cleaning, A la Carte and option for packed breakfast
• Individual air conditioning units in each room with increased frequency of cleaning air unit components and air filters
• Covid tracer QR Codes are located throughout the hotel
